Abstract: Numerous role models have emerged in the Chinese revolution, construction and reform of each historical period, and the
deeds and spirit of these role models have influenced and educated generations of Chinese people to forge ahead unremittingly. Their
spirit has a clear generative logic: thick culture as the basis, the call of the times as the opportunity, and taking root in practice as the
fertile soil. This generative logic entrusts the spirit with rich connotations: firm faith, esteem virtue, perform good deeds, being realistic
and pragmatic, hard work, dedication, taking the lead, integrity and innovation. The spirit provides rich spiritual nourishment for the
cultivation and practice of core socialist values in the new era, strengthens the ideological foundation for the whole Party and the people
of the country to work together, and embodies the mighty strength of the new era, so it has profound time value.
